Here is a letter I just drafted and sent to FOX News regarding Congressman Ron Paul:

Dear FOX News:



I am a History Ph.D. student in Scotland born and raised in the United States to a USNA graduate who died during the Vietnam era. I am appalled at the views and disdain those in the upper echelons of academia possess for our once great country. I chose to study overseas to get away from the negative ambiance constantly enveloping the U.S. and the propaganda spouted by all forms of media in attempts to ‘spin’ things to a certain point of view.



Our nation can be great again - but only if we stand up and support a man who understands our Constitution and believes that those who drafted it contemplated and worked out the role of central government. During that time our Founding Fathers fought against the mightiest world power for our right to democracy and freedom and to keep our liberties intact.



Are you honestly NOT going to give Mr. Paul his say and allow the “Establishment” to dictate who and what the American People are exposed to?



Yes, I suppose you will.



I believed FOX news was a true voice of the people, but if you negate Mr. Paul's candidacy for president, what does that demonstrate about the impartiality of your lofty organization?



If even FOX News, whom I considered a real voice for truth in government and media, will not give Mr. Paul his say, then perhaps it is time for me to look for a new country to call home.



I support Congressman Ron Paul and what he stands for and if you’ve actually read the Constitution of the United States and your brains aren’t being sat upon, so will you.

My flatmate is moving out and has the BT bill in her name.



She has tried to call them today so we can get me added to the account and the billing changed over to my bank.



The problem is that she has been on hold with BT for over an HOUR and has been switched from dept. to dept. with no one trying to help her.



Is this ridiculous or what?



BT has the monopoly on phones here in the UK so they can treat people like vermin.



I remember when AT&T was broke up in the late 70's as they were considered a 'trust' and that violated the Sherman Act. So we got much better service in the states and most of you have no idea how bad it used to be before the break up of AT&T occurred; you are too young.



The same thing needs to happen here - I mean, come on...how hard is it to add someone to an account on the computer sitting right in front of your face?



GRRRRR! BT!! GRRRRR!

It seems every night around this time BT decides to run really sloooooooooow.....



not only annoying but it kicks me off my favorite sites - like, say, THIS ONE!

normally I love Christmas - but today I feel like saying



BAH HUMBUG!



Mainly because Monsta finally left for his first offshore rotation - so he will be gone for three weeks then back for three weeks and this will continue indefinitely. :( I already miss him...



Then the library wanted a book recalled that I had - no big deal but I read the e-mail at my office and the book was here at my flat.



BAH HUMBUG!



When I went into the library I explained that I would be gone until 19 Jan. and was told too bad if someone else wants a book that I have checked out. I WILL get fined - even though I am not here to return it.



BAH HUMBUG!



Also, people wonder why I changed my name...



I am schizophrenic for starters and further - I never had a one on my old profile at all - the lowest rate I had was a 7. Then this hateful neophyte who did that to me has the audacity to put some disclaimer on her profile about "HATERZ" (learn to spell cretin!) and to 'get over it' about her ratings.



I suspect that certain members here are setting me up; paranoia? perhaps - but considering the ONLY people who rate me low are in their teens and from a certain state - it is rather obvious that such is the case. Not to mention the person I suspect of asking them to down rate me visits my page pretty frequently whenever I am anywhere near her score.



The immaturity and drama are so petty and meaningless - but I REFUSE to live with a ONE on my profile and to have some ignorant little asshat dis me after I politely asked why. I wasn't even given the courtesy of an answer.



I really don't care where I am in the ratings -but as I said before -I refuse to live with a one for all the hard work I have put in.



Some people just have no respect and it really is a shame.



BAH HUMBUG!





However, on the plus side -I should have some more money tomorrow and can get just a few more Xmas gifts and the biggie?



On Friday when I leave - I GET TO GO TO PARIS!!!



I am thrilled that I can say that I finally went to France after all the years of French I had. YAY!!!!



Then I get to go home and see my BABY SHARK and my folks!



Christmas will be fun even though I will miss the Monsta - I took a video of him on my phone today of him meowing like he does to keep me company when I miss him too much.



Better go watch it now.
